This page sets out the terms and conditions for using this website and making donations to the Romanian Orthodox Parish in Edinburgh (SC048786). By using the website and making a donation, you agree to these terms.

Donations and Payments

Donations can be one-off or recurring (monthly subscription). Payments are processed securely via GoCardless. Monthly subscriptions are made via Direct Debit and can be cancelled at any time by following instructions from GoCardless or contacting your bank.

Refunds

Generally, donations are non-refundable. If you made a payment by mistake or there were technical errors, please contact us as soon as possible to analyze the situation and find a suitable solution.

Data Protection

Personal data is processed in accordance with applicable legislation (UK GDPR). For payment processing, certain data is transmitted to GoCardless under secure conditions. For security details, see GoCardless security.

Push Notifications

If you choose to subscribe to our notifications, we will collect an anonymous identifier (FCM token) to send you messages. This token is not associated with your name or email address. You can unsubscribe at any time using the button on the site or browser settings.

Cookies

The site may use strictly necessary cookies for operation and security (e.g., CSRF protection). We do not use analytics or marketing cookies without consent.

Intellectual Property
